Holistic Chef Eddie's Tip of the Day #35

Today I am featuring a wonderful GREEN SMOOTHIE WITH WILD BLUEBERRIES.  Lately I am seen too many people sick and dying prematurely.  It really hurts my heart to see this.  It is in my family and with so many that I love.  I believe in prevention.  This has been my number one reason for being in my vocation.  There is absolutely no magic pill out there so please stop looking.  After years of abusing your nutrition, exercise, mental thoughts and sleep, what do you expect from your body.  It can only take so much.  I'm not perfect and fall off the wagon at times to eat processed "food", which I really don't consider food.  I don't fall off often though.  I get right back on track and stop the abuse.  Yes abuse.  The body is not designed for this abuse and you wonder why people have disease and illnesses.  The body can only take so much.  There are some beneficial drugs out there that actually help a person but they are suppose to push you to change your lifestyle, not be the magic pill so you can continue to abuse your body.  I have said it before and I'll say it again, disease and illness cannot survive in an alkaline state in the body.  If you want to be healthy, eat more alkaline foods, whole foods, exercise, sleep at least 8 hours per day and find some method of releasing the poison you carry around in your mind.  Life is precious.  Every day is a gift.  I don't know about you but I want to live a long long life and at 72 I know that I can and I commit to it.

                  GREEN SMOOTHIE
          WITH WILD BLUEBERRIES

1 - Scoop of Plant Based Protein Powder (your favorite flavor.  I'm a chocoholic)
1 teaspoon Organic Supergreens Powder (containing Wheat Grass, Kale, Moringa and Spirulina)
1 cup frozen Wild Blueberries, Blackberries or Raspberries
1 1/2 cups Coconut Milk or Almond Milk or Purified Water
Natural Purified Ice Cubes (for desired thickness)
Stevia or Monkfruit Sweetener to taste

Place all the ingredients in a high speed blender such as a Vitamix, Ninja or The Bullet.  Blend until smooth and thick.
